Capacitive Humidity Sensors

The dominant technology for industrial and precision measurement in Singapore. A hygroscopic polymer changes its dielectric constant as it absorbs or desorbs water vapour — the capacitance of the sensor element changes in proportion to relative humidity. Accuracy at Operating Conditions

Humidity sensor accuracy specifications are typically given at 23°C. In Singapore's environments — cold rooms at 4°C, HVAC plant rooms at 35°C, or pharmaceutical cleanrooms at 22°C — the accuracy may differ from the nominal specification. Output Signal
