The Fluke 68 Infrared Thermometer is designed to measure extreme temperatures in electrical troubleshooting and predictive/preventive maintenance environments. It can measure up to 760°C (1400°F), log data, hold the last reading, and allows you to adjust emissivity. Plus its 50:1 distance to spot ratio can keep you further away from high temperature, high voltage and other dangerous situations helping you find:
- Faulty terminations in high power electrical circuits
- Overloaded circuit breakers in a power panel
- Fuses at or near their current rated capacity
- Problems in electrical switch gear
- Overheated bearings in large motors or other rotating equipment
